Missing You Poem by Kathryn Brookins

Missing You

I think of you often, more often then I should,
thinking about how you held me in a way only you could.
I miss you so much, it may be unhealthy as much as I do,
but my life is just empty without you.

I remember the flower you pulled over to pick for me,
the way you let me sit across your knees.
The way you played with my hair, and nesseled deep in my neck,
I can still smell your scent, that I never reject.

I see you in my minds eye,
the way we were in days that have long, gone by.
I remember cudleing close to you and feeling your heat,
listening in the silence to your heartbeat.

Feeling your arms around me and your kisses deep,
it is you I still dream of in all my nights sleep.

I look for you even though you are gone,
I try to find you in others, even though its wrong.

I know your in sipapu, I meet you there one day on my own,
coming to you as I was born, naked and alone.
to be reunited to my hearts love at last....
Life passes quickly.. I know it will fly by fast.
I long for you, and I dearly miss you,
when you come in my dreams, I want to be with you... honest I do.

Until that time we see eachother again, I will wait...
to be reborn with you, to grow again with you, to touch you.
