Missing You On Mothers Day Poem by jessica carden

Missing You On Mothers Day

I use to ask why he took you away
now I see you were tired and the cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and softly he whispered
'It's time my child, close your eyes and come home to me...'

Though I loved you dearly, It would be selfish to ask if you would stay...
I remember standing by your bed holding your hand..
You told me you loved me but, it was time to go home...

With tears in my eyes I bent down and kissed your head..
As I turned to walk away, I knew I was watching as you slowly passed away....
But now your standing next to the cure..

So Let me rejoice for now your in heaven looking down on me...
I miss and love you while I am always thinking of you...
But more on this mothers day....
