Modern Man

Dark, dark, dark
And there is a dog’s bark

A wild heinous cry
A red mark on the sky

With unfathomable fear
I draw myself near

And saw a corpse decaying
From its mouth, I heard it saying

In a greedy murmuring sound
'Dollar, penny and pound'
