Modest In Translation

'Wordbook'.
What's wrong?
I use it
'cause 'dictionary'
is two syllables
too long.

A vulgar phrase in French,
whose wordbook translation
ain't rude at all,
turned me sleuth:
Il me casse les parties
He sends me up the wall
Casse is 'breaks'
A partie is a 'ball'
