Moments Of Cherishments

Hand in hand with my grandson
we walk up the path ahead

suddenly he says "Grandma,
may I hold your hand very firm? "

"Of course, my dear Vinhie"
I added: "Why? "

"I am afraid you are flying high
like that man on that churchtower up there,
the wind is so very strong right now"...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poet's Note:
strolling along the pavements in Sainte-Mére-Eglise,
In Low-Normandy when all of a sudden the wind gets the power of
a very rude storm....

This is a moment of great pleasure when a grandmother keeps hand with her grandchild and walks together. He can of course hold your hand and make his way right. Your grandson can learn many things from you. Vinhie is strong right now. We love him very much. We send much blessings for him and we feel very happy hearing about him. This is a great memorable poem. He will read it when he will grow up and go to school.10
