You used to be the angel of my dreams
But now you're just the demon of my nightmares
I thought we'd be forever
Since my love was always right there
But you shut me out and let it get too bright
And now I know I should've always seen the light
Cause you never really did care
I just wanted what was not there
And I was way too blind to see you
Once cupid shot his arrow straight through
So tell me you don't love me
I'll know just when you mean it
Say you want me gone
Tell me I'm always wrong
You could never say it could you
No matter what I broke and threw
I always came crawling back
You said you loved that too
And now we're not together
It was way too much to weather
But I could never live without you
You know how much that's been true
You just can't live with me
And now that's all I can see
I almost remembered what would be
Before that final blow hit me
Cause something in you snapped
I just wanted you back
You just packed your bags and ran
I didn't think it was your final plan
It was though and I never saw you
The note said your heart grew wings and flew
And now I can see that was true
