Monsoon Rain

This year monsoon may come soon
For the poor farmers it will be a boon
This summer was very harsh and hot
Soil became dry in the land they got
They depend mostly on monsoon rain
To plough and sow for yearly grain
This year clouds are pacing the sky
Dark and low no one can say why
All hope they are going to pour soon
Wait for rain through morn and noon
