Monster Poem by Todd Mcduffie

Monster

Rating: 5.0

I'm here in a devilish place
Staring across the room at a demon face
My hands are clammy
I can't even stand me
Keep the pace
Keep the peace

Pat the devil on the back and tell them they're doing it right
My what a fright
A sight to behold
Oldest story ever told
I me me mine ten fold

The ambitious monster needs to eat
Ambitious monster eat my bones for they're organic
Monster needs to sleep
Sleep upon the clouds where your head resides
Monster needs water
Just turn your head to the west
For surely you alone control the tides
I wonder if behind your mask...
There is a place where a human hides
