Moon may not be seen any more
Once upon a time we praised and adored her
In full lime light and show as gorgeous
She had become over night famous
I wrote about her some years ago
She was Chand* (moon) with full of ego
Lawyer as profession with post of deputy attorney
She was beautiful as well as looked honey too
It took no time for her to rise on high ladder
She married to a powerful political leader
As he was already married to an influential lady
He was, by situation, forced to convert religion by his daddy
Chand*was converted to Fizza and *Mohan to Mohammud
In the beginning it was appreciated and seemed very good
Soon the dark clouds appeared on horizon and threatened
Both did not realize the gravity and now were frightened
The alliance was short lived as he retraced his steps
Fizza* was left out alone and felt it as big set back
She had to resign as deputy attorney and go in isolation
It was end of beautiful union and tragic interruption
The troubles now started brewing in with their existence
There was more and more intimidation and insistence
But lady did not give up easily and offered legal fight
As an out spoken and brave lady she had every right
She was insulted and faced rough weather
Her wings were cut and scattered the feathers
She was becoming hated person and forgotten entity
She accepted no defeat but accepted the wish of almighty
Chand* is no more among us today
But she has shown the courageous way
She stood for principles and did whatever she could
Moon had no other place to hide and this she clearly understood
Moon is considered as an embodiment of love and sacrifice
Full of commitment for each other to stand as one with promises
There might be many lapses and quite few of them as misses
Yet it requires social acceptance for which bad time it chooses
Tribhawan Kaul Too sad for Fiza alias Anuradha Bali. We don't know how many Fiza's are still out there. Recently one more lady Geetika Sharma commited suicide because of one Minister Madu Kanda. I treat this poem as a tribute to Fiza. May her soul rest in peace.
