Moon Mirrored Sea Poem by Matthew Moser

Moon Mirrored Sea

Shadowed flames of silver dance on reflected sky,

The mirror bending, changing with the ebb of the tide,

Grains of sand wash away a floating chance,

Life, is like that,

So is romance,

Breaking shattering waves crest,

Weeping salty spray,
of love?
Of regret?

Ponder it yet,

Question it as may be,

But answers,
are like sea.

Not true,

Not false,

Maybe not even 'could be'

Look in the mirror, see yourself true,

but do not allow any one to question.

who are you?
