Moonlight
I lay on my roof staring at the stars,
spelling out things with these gems,
waiting to fall asleep for a better tomorrow,
wanting this loneliness to go away.
Yet I am so happy to be here,
as I see how beautiful life is,
as the moon shines over me,
I just watch that precious pearl.
The light which keeps me up,
pushing forward my thoughts,
thinking of what I want,
You.
