In times when you're troubled, and the day seems long
Stay calm in the darkness, be patient and strong
This darkness will pass and the sorrow will cease
Quiet your heart babe, Allah will give you peace
Take one day at a time; don't worry or fear
My soul aches to see you in pain; or your eyes with tears
Don't feel dismay; you're never alone
I'd take all your worries; and make them my own
My heart is surrounding you; with what you're going through
Thinking of you constantly; praying for you, too
Your love and friendship I treasure; to me, it's the greatest gift
You're who I can turn to; when my spirit needs a lift
You've an inner strength, resilience, and grace
You truly make this world; a much better place
I'll remain by your side; year after year
There's nothing we can't conquer; you never have to fear
You give all you can; and it's more than enough
Brighter days are ahead love; things won't always be this rough.
