Mother Poem by Arcely Talicuad

Like mother bird on a tree,
That scrupulously cares her newborn baby,
Mother does the same to me;
From the day I was born until today.

She teaches me good things unwearyingly,
Pushes me up and lights my way,
Whenever I do wrong, she gets angry;
Because she wants the best for me.

A lot of sacrifices, she does every day,
Just to help me fulfill my dreams and be happy,
Whenever I fail, she shows sympathy;
And inspires me to just go on and
chase victory!
