Mother Poem by Ibrahim Ibn Salma

Mother

"Heavens are beneath mothers' feet"
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Oh wind,
Vividly play
With her hair

Oh moon,
Softly twinkle
Her face

Oh sun,
Warmly touch
Her heart

Oh stars,
Widely sprinkle
On her body

Oh angel,
Passionately reside
Inside her eyes

Oh God,
Blissfully fill
Her spirit
With
Love

She is the soul
That gave me
Life.
