Moumita (500th) Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Moumita (500th)

Moumita! I will never forget you.
By what name will I call you dear?
I took just one and half month
To know your true identity my dear.

In disguise of a bee you came to me.
You were flying and buzzing around me.
Once you sat on my tender petals
Which were so lovely and so lively.

Then you desired to drink my honey
And I believed that you were thirsty.
As I have a soft and merciful heart
I gave you the chance to drink my honey.

Then I felt that you are a wild creature
With a sharp venomous string, not a bee.
You spoilt my petals with your poison
And made me sick by sucking my vitality.

I screamed with an unbearable agony
And you were laughing at me so loudly.
Then you fled with your ugly appearance.
You were not worthy even to fly around me.

I took few months to recover myself.
Now I'm aware of such creatures like you.
Still now you are buzzing to spoil others' lives
What'll happen if they're in disguise like you?
