Move On Poem by Julia Tippett

Remember me when I am gone
for these trees are not where I'm done
these places
these people
not for me
I
must always move on

remember me when you sing
for our voices are still one
these songs
this music
not for me
I
must always move on

remember me when you laugh
for our laughs echo forever
these hills
these times
not for me
I
must always move on

remember me when you are stuck
for I was once stuck too
before I left you
those hopes
that time
not for me
I
must always move on

remember me when you love
for I still love you
and I know you too
will come
this love is for us
we
must always move on
