Move On Poem by Laura Rodriguez

Move On

Move on without me,
I'm out of your life,
get a grip.
You think I'm gone forever,
but I'm behind you.
I pushed you out of the boat,
now swim,
I can only take you so far.
There's an island near by,
swim there,
I'm changing my destination.
You fear of drowing,
but you are so close.
You fear of lossing all you have,
but you had nothing.
I was nothing.
Go, swim and live.
