Moving On: '( Poem by Henrie Howells

There was something about you that set you apart
The first time I saw you, you captured my heart

But alas it wasn’t meant to be,
all I can do is set you free
I just hope you know
That you’ve completely lost me

My feelings for you were very strong
But now their dead and gone.
I took a chance and its one I will never regret.
Because now I can finally forget.

Time to tie up all the loose ends
Parting ways, not even as friends
