Mr. Bully Poem by leen Akel MNSR

Mr. Bully

Rating: 4.2

Pity, that is what i don't want
A letter i got, in a cursive font
'sorry' that is what they all say
I have to hear this every day

Mr.Bully please go away
Can you do this with word you say
Don't touch me with your filthy hand
Come on, just push me in the sand

Don't worry i got used to this thing
For 4 years, it doesn't really sting
Give up, how about that
Instead of beating me with that bat

Physical pain, that is not what i get only
Emotional pain, yeah that is what made me lonely
You treat me like a dirty mop
Why cant you just stop

This torture must get an end
My bones are not here to bend
You want to hit me, i start to sweat
Pity, yeah that is all i get

Hi Ieen, Marital violence, I had believed, happens only is homes of India, the third world countries. But, your poem proves otherwise, doesn't it? Yes, it has to stop. Women have to say firmly, STOP! Your poem, quite moving. Heart-rending.. It is as if I was reading the last few lines of a big story. Great 100+ And I invite you to read my poem, Enter His Kingdom, on the same subject. may be you'd like it!

A very moving poem about an awful problem for many. You write directly and very well.
