Musical Sonnet Poem by MyIner Agony

Every night I lie awake with pain of past battles.
I sit there thinking while I let the tears travel.
Thank God I have an advocate to help me meditate.
They say it "medicates" your mood through out the day.
They said it'll make you hype and do a little dance.
So to get rid of my pain I gave music a chance.
I remember how it felt when I heard the beat drop.
I got so excited within I thought my heart stopped.
All of a sudden my voice came alive and I got to doin' this little thing.
And at that moment I learned to dance and sing.
At a very young age, music was a personal heaven for me.
And for the rest of my life that's where I want to be.
