You were my angel
You were my dream
Simply the sight of you

Could make my knees weak
You were my life
I was yours

And you were mine
You arrived with perfect grace into my world
Music played while we danced and twirled

Deliriously happy when I was with you
This feeling you gave me, was completely new
A feeling so amazing it can't be explained

You left me speechless and I knew it was true
Theres a look in your eyes that is so amazing

More beautiful than a thousand suns blazing
I don't know what I would ever do without you
My world would be completely dark cold and blue

I still remember the first time we met
A frozen moment in time I will never forget
An amazing day I could never regret

I used to sit in class and find myself smiling
Now it seems I'm without you, and my heart is dying
Things that made me happy, now seem pointless

All I can do is sit and think of this
I feel like I'm losing you and it kills me inside
I've lost my angel and it makes me want to cry

No one else could ever make me feel the way I felt that night
Standing alone in my backyard before we said goodbye
I love you more than a poem could ever describe

And I will always be yours 'till the day that I die
