My Angel Poem by Carson Marks Gordon

My Angel

If you were any more than just a girl
An angel you would be, forever more
Your long and flowing locks that simply curl
You’ve fallen here for me, at my front door

The beauty of your soul is more than just
A thing, it is my shining light at night
Your eyes are not simply a thing of lust
Delicious, no? I want to take a bite

Your body is a temple of beauty
That makes my body shiver when you’re near
To keep you safe and sound is my duty
Regardless of the heinous things you hear

The last thing you can be is just pretty
To have your face, an angel you must be
