My Baby Girl Poem by Marissa Gertmenian

My Baby Girl

My baby girl she cannot talk
But words she has to spare
My baby girl she cannot sing
But her music fills the air.

My baby girl she cannot stand
But her footprints fill my heart
My baby girl she cannt say she loves me
But her love will never part.

My baby girl she cannot dance
And her rhythm is so smooth
My baby girl she cannot hug
And yet her hugs they sooth.

My baby girl she cannot speak
But her laughter shows me love
My baby girl she has no wing
Yet I know she was sent from up above.
