each day we spend together,
i feel drawn closer to you,
can we really be together forever?
i think that this love is true.

you're my inspiration,
you're my determination,
you make me laugh,
you make me cry.

although we may disagree,
and we sure argue too,
remember i'll always be here for you.

everyone can see
how happy we are,
we don't have to be close together,
and yet we're never far apart.

you're my shoulder to cry on,
you're my hand to hold,
you are my love,
you are my best friend.
