My Bible Poem by Luke Easter

My Bible

Rating: 1.5

Pick up your bible and look in the mirror,
Grasp firmly, holding it securely over the heart,
Recite these words as the oath of an affirmation,
Dwell on them intently so as to never be apart.

I believe in My Bible & all that it says I can be,
Accomplish everything it claims I can do,
Jesus already paid the price to set me free,
The Creator’s word is love and forever true.

Failure will never, ever be an option,
Through faith I am only geared for success,
A Holy Spirit always dwells inside me,
God will never get anything less than my best.

Joshua 1: 8 and Psalms 1: 1-3,
The Lord’s will is prosperity for me,
Meditate on the promises every waking minute,
Accepting the word, digesting everything in it.

Remember, before any promise is to be received,
Of course you have to trust in, rely on and believe,
However, nothing will ever grow from any planted seed,
Unless the bible is opened and the pages we begin to read.

Prosperity is not just for a financial increase first,
If God doesn’t make you rich don’t get your feelings hurt,
This word is first and foremost about a spiritual growth,
Between the two which one really is worth the most?

To me this reading is a wealth of knowledge,
There’s nothing else like a scriptural college,
The bible not the Army makes you all you can be,
Matthew 17: 20, nothing is impossible unto me.

For sure as I become smarter, live longer and breathe,
What an opportunity to spread joy and not grieve,
Book of Numbers chapter fourteen verse twenty-four,
I have a different spirit so God has opened the door.

Same book in chapter thirteen,12 went on a mission,
10 came back already in a state of defeat and submission,
Daily feed on the word putting yourself in a better position,
Matthew 4: 4, it’s the greatest source of nutrition.

Yes, this is your bible, feed on it when you first awake,
And before going to bed let this be the last thing you take,
Snack on it during the day given an opportunity for a break,
Never giving the evil one a chance to seal your fate.

Always believe God, have trust and faith in Jesus Christ,
These are the only keys to living a greater fulfilling life,
Deuteronomy 28: 8, the commanded blessings shall come,
1st Corinthians 1: 9, it's the promise when all is said and done.

Hand in hand and step by step,
Least anyone ever try to forget,
Walk with Satan you will be held liable,
God sent us a way out, it's called the bible.
