My Blue Poem
Writing my blue poem
With my pink pen...
Mellow blue,
Sweet Aster sugar blue,
Sad sighing blue,
Mid-night sky blue
Blues singing, crying blue...
'Lady Day' blue
Soon smiling blue,
Because I am thinking of you,
Writing my blue poem
With a pink pen
Thinking of you

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
Maya Angelou
A playful poem. The unusual colors excites interest and the imagination.
Lovely sentiment, it makes me want to pick up a blue pen and drift away in romantic, poetic thoughts. Loved 'Lady Day' blue. I'm not quite sure the shade of Sweet Aster sugar blue, but it sounds rather nice.
Enjoyed this romantic, dreamy read,
