My Brightest Star Poem by Mario Chavez

My Brightest Star

And her walk is magnificent,
As the brightest star on a clear night.
Of everything, she take a bit and makes it perfect.
All around us we see her beauty.
And in her eyes there is this perfect light,
That in my mind turns shades into life.

A shadow to come, a sunlight less to be shown.
Nothing can evade her unmatched grace.
So lighthearted and yet so dark sometimes.
Flowing down her shallow shape,
Is a light that enlightens her face.
How pure can you be?
How strong underneath?

On your cheeks, rests my hands
So at ease and calm like a breeze.
Waiting for a sutile smile of yours,
Waiting for the sound of your voice.
I just have to move a string and there's peace.
You just have to say the words and i'm complete.
