My Daffodils Poem by J.B. LeBuert

My Daffodils

Here come the daffodils,
A foreboding of Spring.
They truly give me thrills
And make my heart sing.

The snow is now past.
The weather is warming.
The shoots are coming fast;
The honeybees, soon swarming.

The slopes are coming alive.
The beautiful colors of yellow and white;
This year I know they'll thrive.
Thousands are here - Oh what a sight.

At their very most peak,
They make me joyful inside.
A greater beauty, there's no reason to seek.
Come see my daffodils - I'll be your guide.
