My Daughter Poem by Holly Jamestone

My Daughter

My Daughter, how I Love Her
I'm amazed how she has grown
In marriage and in motherhood
She's come into her own

Just yesterday I carried her
And pushed her on the swings
Then suddenly she's all grown-up
And gently spreads her wings

The years sped by, all twenty-five
A milestone birthday now
Her baby sweet, her husband dear
A sacred marriage vow

And though the many miles are there
She's not that far apart
She's in my mind and has reserved
This warm spot in my heart

My Daughter, how I Love her
And just want the world to see
How proud I am to be her Mom
She means the world to me

Happy 25th Birthday, Amy!
Love, Mommy
