Turning 40
Now that you are 40
I am here to let you know
That life begins from this day on
It's now your time to grow
So take a breath and spread your wings
Embrace this special day
And look back only fleetingly
At life along the way
Take the time to laugh, to love
To learn from every year
And don't forget that 40's great
And this one is your year!
And all this talk of hemorrhoids or
Wrinkles or tucked tummies
Is simply that, just idle chat
Or rumors spread by dummies
Now that you are 40
I am here to let you know
That life begins from this day on
I'm 40; I should know
