I stand atop the bridge
With the lights of the city shimmering
The snow falls
And engulfs the city in its purity
Its whiteness, its virginity
I hear the river roaring
The roar of a hungry lion
As it awaits me
With open arms
I take one step forward
And look at the darkness below
In this one moment
Everything stops
Its still, its quiet
I hear my heart beating
Louder and louder
I step back, one last time
To take it all in
And then,
I move ahead, one last time
To let it all go
I take the final plunge
As the scream pierces my head
I touch the wind
And smell my fear
As it fades away
And gives room to peace
I think about love
I think about pain
I think about misery
And all that I've left behind
As I hit the water
And the water hits me
I don't fight
I don't scream
I embrace my destiny
Destiny that I wrote
Destiny that I lived

So you are a survivor. But you wrote your destiny. That's important. Because you can unwrite it as well. Done. Cheers. Subroto
