These columns of desolation
Built upon my woeful mind
History, as it were
I now leave behind.
I sleep to a dream
Where our paths were right
Heaven, as it were
I now am your light,
For you and for you alone,
The smile of my life
The answers to my pain
And the euphoria to my heart.
The charm of your simplicity
Blends the wind that blows my way.
A plethora of your love,
And in it, I melt away.
