My Evolution Poem by Jann Aquarius

My Evolution

My nights have been so cold.
My desire for ecstasy has grown old.
My days have passed without color.
From fear I always tremble.
For help, my weary soul cries out from hell.
But seems no one hears my yell.
As I wait for betterment my skin slowly turns pale.
I can’t believe this is real.
What is the mystery of His will?
My world is cold and dark.
But it won’t make me arch.
Everyday I wear a mask.
No one knows that my life is a great shock.
My skin from pale gets dark as
Blood runs from red to black.
Daily pain is my dose.
To it I got used.
The creature you knew is dead.
Now, a new creature has born.
A man calloused to the bone.
A man no one has ever known.
