My Father Poem by Archana Ray

My Father

Rating: 5.0

My father was an ocean of Love
Which I known so late.
He was a treasured Gem
Which I lost by mistake.
He was pillar of Strength
Which I realized after his demise.
He was a man of Character
Which I fail to figure out.
He was a System
Which moved my family.

He was fearless and confident
Which made us feel heaven.
He was our life
His loss made us worthless.
His absencemake me shaky
Now I don't have anyone to complain
About those who make me sad
And about those things make me weak.

I am that unlucky one that searched for water
When an entire ocean belonged to me.
Oh! God help me to know things
Which are treasures that will never
Make a comeback when it is lost
Which will fade away in eternity forever.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and emotional poem which is a great tribute to a father who is no more in this world now. This is very sad. I quote a few lines: My father was an ocean of Love Which I lost by mistake. He was pillar of Strength Which I realized after his demise.
