My Favorite Season Poem by Guy McDawson

My Favorite Season

Rating: 4.5

My favorite season you ask? What do you think?
My favorite could be any.
Do you think it's spring?
No! And reasons, I have plenty.

Though there are flowers growing,
daisies growing tall,
I find spring very boring
and lackadaisical.

No, my favorite's much more exciting!
But fall is when the chill comes;
winter's snow it is inviting,
though that is pleasant to some.

When winter's snow comes falling,
children begin their chants,
but winter's cold is quite appalling;
winter's a kick in the pants.

My favorite season is hot;
filled with joy and fun!
Children playing and whatnot;
summer, hurry up and come!
