Every time I'm with you
i try to focus on all the good things
but every time i think of you
my heart aches and my head thinks

of all the pain you gave me
and how you make me feel
how i think of you everyday
and how i know that these feelings are real

as i lie in bed and think of you
tears rush straight to my face
and every time i see you
my heart begins to race

i get kinda nervous
and don't know what to say
this same thing happens
day after day

i know i love you
that's one thing that's true
but i can never seem to believe you
when you say you like me too

i know that if you really did like me
then i wouldn't feel this way
i wouldn't have the thought of suicide on my mind
each and every single day

i wouldn't have to cry myself to sleep
each and every night
and there wouldn't be all these bad feelings
that i would always have to fight

sometimes i wonder what it is about you
that makes me feel this way
sometimes i like the feeling
sometimes i just want it to go away

i don't want all this sadness
i don't want all this pain
but no matter how hard i try
these feelings still remain.
