My First Meeting With The Fortune Teller Of Shecola Poem by Justin Gildow

My First Meeting With The Fortune Teller Of Shecola

Reaching Shecola
The guards at the front gate bar me from entering
the castle of Shecola
A man outside tells me that only women are allowed
into the castle

I'm going to need some help
Somehow
Somewhere

Walking around the outside of the castle
I notice a row of stairs leading down
Walking down the stairs
I reach a chamber
And inside the chamber lives a fortune teller

I greet her
And she greets me back
I tell her that I'd like to enter the castle of Shecola
somehow
She tells me she'd love to help
But she can't
Not right now at least

She tells me that she dropped her crystal ball
in the pond up at Ghost Village
And until she has it back
She's powerless to help me

I tell her that I'll go and find her crystal ball in the pond
up at Ghost Village
And she's wonderfully grateful
Telling me she can help me when I return
