My Forever Poem by Dez Clark

My Forever

I wish I could feel forever
Such as the vasity in space,
Or maybe perhaps
As long as Juicy Fruit's fruity taste.

Or just for once
(I hope this doesn't alarm)
But I would like to spend a night
Cradled in your arms.

Those soft, tender eyes,
The abyss that hides within,
All these things about you
Suddenly make me grin.

Fragile as I look,
I am very strong willed.
But I may need your love
If my world begins to chill.

You're smile is heart-warming,
Beautiful in every way,
I'd give anything in the world
For it not to leave me astray.

I did want to feel forever,
To see the morning light,
But everyday feels like forever
When I'm lost in your eyes.
