My Friend Poem by Felix Lee

To me,
Everyone has a potential.
The very core of a person,
Will determne their character.

To me,
I feel that everyone has a chance.
I can’t see anyone in a bad light,
It’s just their attitude.

To me,
The nicest people,
Are the ones who don’t show,
That they like me at first.

To me,
These people hang on.
They try to understand me,
Try to understand my inner self.

To me,
Nobody can truly understand someone else.
But the only way to understand someone,
Is to be their friend.

To me,
Only a friend can understand someone.
Not an enemy,
Not as a parent.

To me,
Only a friend,
Can break my inner fortress.,
Can draw true friendship from me.

To me,
I feel a friend is easy to have,
But a good friend,
Is difficult to find.

To me,
I just want to tell my friends,
I’ll always be loyal,
I’ll always be kind.

To me,
I’m looking,
For a friend,
Just to understand me.

To me,
I wonder why,
It’s so difficult to find,
My friend.
