A million answers given
To questions we never asked
The failures here are driven
By us failing at this task

Working for the life I want
But no time to complete this phase
The hard times they give begin to haunt
And i cannot look them in the face

Here we go again it seems
I give til I am complete
Sad, I know, to live in dreams
But because of YOU they are sweet

I can never have you
But you are here as my friend
A thousand tears shared with you
Is better than being alone again

You help me see the light ahead
A perhaps I'll make it there
The path on which I am being led
Is here because you care

So thank you my most precious friend
And I hope you know my heart
To you alone my heart will bend
You've had me from the start.
