What if I followed the clouds to where they went, walking backwards?
I wouldn't bump into anything, I wouldn't hurt myself
Because I'd already know where I'd been.
I'd leave my destination behind in front of me,
Watch it grow smaller in the distance
And then lose sight of it in a bend,
And the clouds would take me back...
Here we go again, in the opposite direction. Walking backwards, no less. I think this girl simply refuses to accept what others take for granted. She was probably one of those kids always asking why who would irritate the Hell out of you. Boy, I bet she was tough to raise! All I know is, she probably tied up the babysitter, climbed out the window, and skipped school. It sure didn't hurt her creativity though. Who knows, about her future. I just know poetry can't keep her for long. This girl is going places. Backwards, if necessary. GW62
