My Heart Is Where I Belong

Rating: 0.5

I sit alone brooding over my past,
No clear picture so far.
I stumble, it seems time to act
The part I am bound to.

My mind asks me a million questions.
They are all tainted with doubts;
I gotta answer my longing soul.
Within lies the torch, I know,
That can lead me along the path of history.

My past has always been a lump in my throat;
I choke on it all the time.
I realize fully now that it is there alone lies my heart and destiny.
I live there, I breathe there.
I live there, I breathe there.

It takes all strength to look back and much more to go back;
Still I am up to it
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong.

My life’s never gonna be the same again;
But it will be different for the better.
I keep wandering till I end up finding my beginning
‘Coz it is the only true place where I could fit into.
I am welcome there
And I welcome it with full heart.

It takes all strength to look back and much more to go back.
Still I am up to it
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong.

My heart is where I belong.
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.

My heart is where I belong.
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong.
‘Coz my heart is where I belong.

My heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong.
My heart is where I belong.
