My heart is full of love,
There is no hatred or anger.
I am all alone in this room,
Yet I am closer to the world,
Than any stranger on a bus,
Travelling to see the world.
I have love in my life,
I do love my life,
And, most of all,
I love myself,
For I am truly part of,
The human race.
I have some money,
But I have more love,
And am rich in every way,
I never walk alone,
I never allow my shadow,
To overtake me,
I am haunted by no ghosts,
Love what I desire the most.
I have my heart's desire:
I have freedom and love,
My heart beating,
With love,
For all the people.
I walk under the sun everyday,
I walk through the driving snow,
Yet I am never scorched,
And am never cold,
My heart big enough,
To keep the cold at bay.
I have a purpose,
To live this life,
And to love this life,
I have reason to keep moving,
And interact with,
The people of the world,
Who all work nine to five,
Determined to stay alive.
People who are determined,
To make a difference,
Their hearts beating with love,
For they wish for,
Their heart's desire:
Friends, good food and wine,
That heartens even the hardest heart.
The most violent weather,
Lashes outside,
Leaving the desolate,
Alone and abandoned:
People who have lost their way,
But days push on,
And - in the end -
We all go home.
Our heart's desire,
Wait for us,
Like the destination,
Arriving at the end,
Of a journey on a bus:
A destination,
With all its treasured dreams,
And treasured loves,
Desires of the heart,
Coming true for now & always.
