My Loneliness Poem by Maria Segura

My Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

My loneliness I do not want to share with anyone,
for it is in my loneliness that I feel you by my side.
It might be a crowded room, with laughter, and noises,
But only you in my mind.

I can hear your voice whisper my name,
I can almost feel your hands touching my face,
And the mere thought of you doing such,
Makes all my senses focus and..I am with you.

I am able to hear your laughter without care,
I sense you, next to me with no worries,
with peace finally in order,
With a peace that none can take away from us.

Both hand in hand, free to think and act,
Walking on the beach in eternal peace,
With the water by our feet
Washing all sadness away.

And then again on a road,
Going to an undisclosed destination
Seeing the sunset, far in the distance.
But, so close within our hearts.

I can imagine contemplating an enormous mountain,
With its peak so covered with snow,
And the pine trees showing their green limbs
ready for a warm spring.

Such a beautiful view
And in our bodies the warmth of our soul,
Our hearts full of love
And the promise of a future to come.

See! I love my loneliness,
I embrace that solitude,
For it is in my solitude that my world becomes perfect.
With you by my side.
