My Love, You Save Me Poem by Katheryn Foley

My Love, You Save Me

Everyday that goes by,
And I don't see your smile,
My heart bleeds,
From the unbearable pain,
That never seems to change,

As soon as I met you,
I began to find myself,
Who I am and who I'm supposed to be,
A light waking up inside of me,

I had given up on myself,
Thought that I would be broken the rest of my life,
You came and breathed life into my veins,
I can now move forward with you holding the reins,

Just looking in your eyes gives me great comfort,
The way you look at me gives me butterflies,
I've never loved someone as much as I love you,
looking back on memories I know you do too,

Is this infatuation or is this love?
Angel from above,
I pray that this is love,
Pure, innocent, respectful,
Is my love for you,
I love you, I love you, I love you
