My Lullaby Poem by angel lockheart

My Lullaby

Someone sing me a lullaby,
As they cast me out into the sea,
Because now I’m going to fly,
And get lost in the sunset deep.
The rain will be the beat,
And the breeze what moves it along,
The waves the measure’s time sheet,
And the thunder my lover’s song.
My sister to pick the melody,
And my friends to choose the words,
The rest of my family the harmony,
And you the ending verse.

I liked this poem, about indulging the childhood years and the lullabys...nice poem about turning back the time....loved ones singing us lullaby, sweet wish to indulge.
