My Maiden Poem by Elle Lazarus

My Maiden

I'd walk the miles
I'd fight the fire
Walk through frozen plains
and endure life's bane.

I'd run through the brimstone
until I break my bones
And then I'd crawl
with hope in my heart.

I would do all these things
To see my maiden with angel wings
And succeed no matter what
Because I love her that much.
