My Minions Poem by Antonia Nasi

My Minions

My minions lie in front of me,
They're waiting to be taught...

With magic wands and 'Blessed Be's! '
Of all my spells they sought

They watch me with impressive stares,
They raise their furrowed brows...

'You'll be a creature to reckon with...
of this I do avow! '

My book of incantations turned
To zealous, wanton ears

'Oh! There is one minion who...
had hidden and now appears! '

'Ah my little creature come,
and join your brothers here!
There is no reason to escape...
There's nothing you need fear! '

'So in this forest we will rule
My friends don't be afraid...
Go find the rest and bring them here...
I will not be betrayed! '
