My mom once told me
That abortions will never stop,
Even if a woman isn't free
Or even if you call a priest or a cop.
A person will not ever stop drinking alcohol
Even if it becomes illegal to drink,
To get it will always be their main protocol
And it will always be available in a wink.
A person will always smoke cigarettes
Even if they know that they will get cancer,
They will never have any remorse or regrets
And they will never listen to the doctor's answer.
If a woman wants an abortion she'll get one
At her own home or even in a dark back alley,
At night time or in the early dawn
Or with a clothes hanger or a vacuum cleaner in a valley.
