My Name Is Ganon Poem by Derek Kuborn

My Name Is Ganon

I've got courage on my side.
That's more than I can say for your hide.
I've got smoke in my lungs.
It burns deep inside till I can't feel enough.
I've got this wisdom in my skin.
I'm getting more and more with every sin that I commit.
I've seen the things I need to see
To make your soul a better part of me.

I can't help but to think
That this is all nothing but a dream,
And that the cites in my head
Are all imagined up by some equal instead.
This woman lying in my bed
Is just some ghost I fooled around with I dread.
Because the people that I meet
Don't exist at all; they are all just a dream.

I've got some power in my blood.
You could call it lust but I wouldn't call it love.
I've got some mischief in my hands.
You can say I'm crazy, but you wouldn't understand.
I can't help but to feel
Like everything around me isn't real.
I've got the world by its throat,
And I'm not letting go until I know.

I'm done being me.
I need some others' souls to breathe.
I've got my brother in my seat.
He's got some demons at his feet.
I'm done being me.
I need some others souls to see.
I've got a woman in the sheets.
She keeps her sins in her teeth.
